Aino is a PhD student writing her thesis on child sexual abuse: risk factors and changes in the prevalence. Besides the phenomenon of child sexual abuse, her research interests include investigations on child abuse, child-friendly forensic interviews, and online sexual abuse and grooming. Aino has a long history of doing child forensic interviews and developing the therapeutic support of child and adolescent victims.
